Now Working
This is a Tool to test if you can Remotely turn a computer using the wake on lan feature or
most newer computers. Once you submit your MAC Address you shutdown your
computer and if you are setup correctly your computer will start up by it self
once the wake on lan command is received by your network card or build in
network card.
Things you will need:
A DSL or Broadband Internet Connection.
If you are using a router you will need to forward all UDP Port 9 wakeup packets to 192.168.1.255. The first 3 numbers 192.168.1 may be different in your router setup. You will get a idea what your's is by going to Start -> Run and typing in ipconfig /all. And look for IP Address, this is your local ip address since you are using a router.
You will need to enable the wakeonlan feature in the bios of your computer or using the network card setup to enable this feature.
Next you need to get your network cards mac address. In windows this can be done by going to Start -> Run and typing in ipconfig /all. Your mac address is the Physical Address. It should look something like this 01-23-45-67-89-01.
Your IP Address :
Once you have done all of the above enter your mac address here and insert a new IP Address if it is a different computer that you want to wake up. mac format nn-nn-nn-nn-nn-nn
